Praise God for very needed vacations. Tomorrow is my last day of work until I am on vacation, and I am so looking forward to not having to work for 10 days. I have nothing planned except to go to Grand Manan to visit my family, attend my cousins wedding, and see what God has in store for me there. Maybe he will take me on a couple of little adventures, or maybe he will just let me rest in him. Time will tell, I just know that whatever he has planned I will enjoy it.
Thank you Lord for giving me a vacation this summer, thank you for letting me rest in you. Give me the strength to get things ready and out the door, because without you I am weak. Help me to stay focused on you and your will for my life. Help me not to wander off the path that you have set before me. Give me a good nights rest so that I will be rejuvenated for tomorrow, keep us safe as we travel. Amen
